Two Chinese friends who truly understand the Spanish-speaking world
Hello, we are Erik and Mariano, founders of Neo Maco Travel.
Although we live in China, our youth tied us closely to Spain and Latin America. At nineteen we studied together in Havana, Cuba, where we learned Spanish and fell in love with its music and culture.
Erik worked at a travel agency in Spain and travelled across its seventeen autonomous communities. For him, Spain is a second home.
Mariano has travelled through several Latin American countries. He still talks about ceviche, barbecue and a good caipirinha with real affection.
Today, more and more Spanish-speaking travellers visit China. We created Neo Maco Travel to combine our knowledge of the Hispanic world with authentic Chinese culture.
We want to show a China that is real, layered and constantly changing: the China we live every day.
